A fun little painting, great for a little boys room, or a vintage themed room. The Aqua dusty blue makes the bright red plane pop right off the painting.
I recently tried out painting directly on wood panels, and it was frustrating because the wood soaks up the water immediately. In this painting I put a couple layers of gesso down first, in order to see if that did that trick. The paints still reacted in a similar fashion but it wasn't as bad.
